Meet Erica, the Explorer Behind Pastry Planet 

Every adventure has a beginning. Ours started with an Easy-Bake Oven, a little girl with a huge imagination, and a dream of creating something that could make people smile.

I’ve been baking for over 20 years, but my love for it was never just about the desserts. It was about the moments that happened around them. The laughter in the kitchen, the stories shared over a plate of treats, and the feeling that something as simple as a cookie could make someone feel loved.

Some of my most treasured baking memories came from the people who chose to share their traditions with me. Growing up without grandparents, I found a few special women who became family in their own way. One of them introduced me to a holiday cookie recipe that I’ll never forget: crunchy edges, soft centers, overflowing with chocolate chips and pecans. These cookies tasted like home in every single bite. 

That little lesson became something much bigger than a recipe. It became a reminder that the best things in life are made with a little extra love.

For years, baking stayed close to my heart, but life took me down another path. I built a career in the service industry, followed the rules, worked hard, and did what I thought I was supposed to do. But somewhere along the way, I lost the spark that made me feel like myself.

Then one day, that chapter came to an unexpected end.

And in the quiet that followed, I had to ask myself a question I had avoided for years:

What makes me truly happy?

The answer had been there all along.

Cookies. Creativity. Exploration. The feeling of bringing people together.

So I started baking again… not just following recipes, but creating. Experimenting. Dreaming. Taking inspiration from flavors around the world and turning memories into something new.

That little spark became Pastry Planet.

Pastry Planet is more than a cookie company. It’s a place where nostalgia meets adventure. Where classic comfort flavors can sit beside unexpected global inspirations. Where every menu rotation is a new journey and every cookie is crafted with the same care I learned in those early kitchen moments.
